Film Mail-in Box - Up to 3600 feet 8mm

For a genuinely large film collection — decades of home movies, or an estate's worth of reels finally being dealt with. Fits up to 3,600 feet total of silent 8mm or Super 8 film. Given the scope of an order this size, turnaround typically runs a bit longer than our standard 2–3 weeks; we'll walk you through a specific timeline once your reels are logged in. Every foot is digitized in-house on our own equipment. The machines are frame by frame accurate with cool LED bulbs and no sprockets to protect your film. Shipping is included both ways, and your order is insured in transit. Footage beyond the 3,600 ft cap is either transferred at our standard à la carte rate or returned untransferred. Returned files are HD 1920x1080 in MP4 format.

All inclusive transfer box for Up to 3600 feet of 8mm or Super8 silent movie film.  We ship you a box, you put your items in and ship it to us. The shipping label is included.  We will transfer the items to digital, upload your digital files online for you to view, share and download.  You can add on a USB flash drive or DVDs if you would like.  We ship your items back to you.

Eligible media:
8mm or Super 8 silent movie film from any number of film reels.

How to estimate your film lengths?  Measure the diameter of the reel.  
3 inch: 50ft
4 inch: 100ft
5 inch: 200ft
7 inch: 400ft
Most 100ft or larger reels have markings on them to identify how much film is on it.
