Film Mail-in Box - Up to 1200 feet 8mm

For a modest but real film collection — a handful of reels from a childhood or a couple of family trips. Fits up to 1,200 feet total, any mix of silent 8mm or Super 8 reels, at our bulk per-foot rate. We handle sound film as well as silent, including Super 8 sound reels — something not every mail-in service offers. See our Sound film options if you have Super8-Sound. Everything is scanned in-house, frame by frame, without a hot projector bulb anywhere near your original film. The machines are sproketless to protect your film from damage. Most orders are completed within 2–3 weeks of us receiving your box. Shipping is included both ways, and your order is insured in transit. Footage beyond the 1,200 ft cap is either transferred at our standard à la carte per-foot rate or returned untransferred. Files returned are HD 1920x1080 MP4 format.

All inclusive transfer box for Up to 1200 feet of 8mm or Super8 silent movie film.  We ship you a box, you put your items in and ship it to us. The shipping label is included.  We will transfer the items to digital, upload your digital files online for you to view, share and download.  You can add on a USB flash drive or DVDs if you would like.  We ship your items back to you.

Eligible media:
8mm or Super 8 silent movie film from any number of film reels.

How to estimate your film lengths?  Measure the diameter of the reel.  
3 inch: 50ft
4 inch: 100ft
5 inch: 200ft
7 inch: 400ft
Most 100ft or larger reels have markings on them to identify how much film is on it.
