16mm Sound Film Transfer by the foot

16mm was the more “professional-grade” home and institutional format before 8mm made things cheaper and simpler — often found in church, school, or organizational archives as much as family collections. Sound reels are transferred with the original audio track captured alongside the picture, scanned in-house, frame by frame. Priced per foot. If you've inherited a box of unlabeled 16mm reels and aren't sure what you're looking at, email us a photo and we'll help sort it out before you ship anything. 16mm film can be verified by using a ruler and measuring the span of the film.  16mm sound film will have sprocket holes traveling down only one side of the film. Most orders are completed within 2–3 weeks of us receiving your film. Shipping your film to us is your responsibility; return shipping is calculated by weight and added at checkout.
